I had an amazing time staying at this hostel. The staff were extremely attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel facilities were great, especially the big bunk beds and the awesome Italian restaurant. The location was perfect for surfers of all levels, with many surf points nearby. The hotel also provided transportation to the surf spots, which was really convenient. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was very clean. I had a fantastic experience thanks to the friendly staff, great facilities, and convenient location.
For us, it was ideal.

Incredibly friendly staff, creating a super social and relaxed atmosphere to make friends easily. The restaurant serves amazing pizzas that I highly recommend. Perfectly located with a variety of surf spots nearby. Can't wait to return soon!

The open mic night at the Italian pizza restaurant provided a great vibe with talented musicians and comedians. The audience enjoyed eating pizza and drinking arrack, creating a lively atmosphere.

The location of this backpacking hostel is excellent, being close to multiple surf spots and affordable local restaurants. the communal areas have a social and chilled out vibe, making it easy to make friends. the staff is fantastic and attentive, ensuring a great stay. the Italian restaurant on, site serves amazing pizzas, which are a must, try.
Some of the communal bathrooms were not well, maintained, with cleanliness and odor issues.

I had a fantastic stay at Surfing Wombats for 5 nights. The owners were very friendly and cancelling my reservation was no hassle at all. The garden area was lovely and great for meeting other travelers. The beach was just a 5-minute walk away, perfect for a quick dip. Staying in the tent was a unique and enjoyable experience, with cool nights and a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant had amazing pizza and created a social and relaxed vibe. I can't wait to return!
Would recommend this hotel.
